Juiee UglyWorld is a Korean based Surrealism Pop Artist. She is a young contemporary artist whose strength lies in expressing both design and artistic elements. They possess an infinite imagination that goes beyond two dimensions to encompass space. This artist takes on challenging collaborations with various brands, transforming them into art. By exposing the underlying aspects of the current state and passive observation, they uniquely unravel their distinctive satire and idealistic worldview. This artist stands out as a distinctive surrealist pop artist.

ART THEORY

The world is both beautiful and ugly.

While we dream and live with utopian ideals, the concept holds a paradoxical meaning of a 'non-existent place.' Thomas More's 'Utopia' and Aldous Huxley's 'Dystopia,' with a subtle difference, ultimately describe the same world.

Between the ideal and reality, hope and despair, the coexistence of contradictions in our contradictory world living, already demonstrates that we are living in an idealized world.

UglyWorld encapsulates the meaningful and beautiful aspects of an imperfect world. However, like removing the lens of familiarity and presenting reality anew through the eyes of a newborn child, it aims to show reality as a fantastical world, seemingly new and different.

Though light and darkness are one, as the boundaries seem apparent, they are expressed with thick and bold black lines, exploring the coexistence and disparity between inside and outside, outward and inward, self and society, and the ideal and the real, portraying UglyWorld as a surreal space.
